“Good evening to everyone
out there who is currently watching CNN now! Today we have a special guest here
name Nicholas Tze. Nicholas Tze is now working for the film industry and today
he is a very successful man with a very unique background from how he become
what he wants to be today! Let’s welcome Nicholas Tze with a round of applause”,
the news reporter named Carinne welcome Nicholas Tze to the show. “ Thank you!
Thank you!” Nicholas Tze bows down in front of the camera to thanks his fans
for the round of applause.
“ Hello Nicholas! How are
you? Please do take a seat right here!” Carinne said as she pointed a red chair
for him to have a seat. “ Hi! I am fine!” Nicholas said as he smiled to Carinne.
“ Nicholas, tell me the story that you wanted to told me the other day when I was
on the phone with you,” Carinne winked her right eye at Nicholas. “ Oh! That story!
No wonder you postpone my story to today so that my fans can hear it! Good
choice!” Nicholas laughed. “ Now you know! Well you may start now with the
story! We are all on our nerves to hear it” Carrine replied as she took a glass
of water to drink.
“ Ok! I will start now so bear
along with me throughout the show! When I was fifteen and it was 2 days away
from Chinese New year, my sis and I had a bet to see who can collect the most
money. My 2 sister and I accept the challenge and the person with the least money
will have to give quarter of their money to the highest and the 2nd
highest collector. We even pinky swear and all of us were doing a checklist of
people who we shall visit.
On the 1st day of
Chinese New Year, we wore our new attire and were eager to visit our relatives’
house. Once we have reached their house, we pushed each other in before
entering the house. We were all in our best behavior and helping as much people
as we could in the house in order to get extra ‘Red Packet’. My sister Celina
even perform a show for my Uncle and aunties to watch. She strums the guitar
with a beautiful song she wrote to get their heart and mind. Once she had performed
finish, she was given another ‘Red Packet’ each from my Uncles and aunties. I
felt that I was losing in the game so I decided that I should do something too.
I then decide to do a few magic tricks with the poker card I saw in the glass
cabinet. I took it out and perform my magic tricks which managed to ‘Wow’
everyone in the living room. Once my show is done, I got another round of “ Red
Packet ‘ from them and they called me the next Houdini. How funny was that? My
youngest sister Cally felt she was left out too. Therefore, she asked us to
give her some space while she do some dancing moves which made us all stunt for
a moment even my parents did not know my sister,Cally could do such dance.
Once the time is up and
we had to go for our 2nd relatives house, my sister and I were all talking about what
we did back there. Once we enter the car,
we quickly count how much we got without letting the others now. After half an
hour of driving, we visited the 2nd house. We were all hoping the
way in and I saw my mom sister with my grandma welcoming us into the house. My
family and I had our chit chat about how is our life lately and so on with my
grandma and my mom sister. It was quite a normal topic people speak off but it
would be better if we share it deeper with some of our little secrets. We even
repeat our acts on what we did in the 1st relative house earlier to
get a 2nd round of ‘Red packet’.
After days of visiting all
of our relatives, friends and teachers houses, we decide to count our money on
the 4th day of Chinese New Year. We all counted and the winner goes to me. I
was so happy that I had the most money compared to my 2 sister. My sister Cally
which is the youngest had to give quarter of her money to my sister Celina and
I for winning the challenge. My sister Cally was trying to break her promise even
though we pinky swear. We kept on teasing her until she gave us our money. When
she gave us the money, she was sobbing and was complaining to my parents about
this matter. My parents gave her their portion of ‘Red Packet’ o make her feel
happy.
On the 5th day of
Chinese New Year during noon time, we were all playing ‘congkak’ in the living
room without us knowing that our house was under fire. The fire was caused by
two naughty boys who played fireworks which could shoot fireball up the sky.
Three shots were accidentally hit the cable of our house which is used to connect
the television for us to get the signal from the station. It was under fire and
we did not realize it for an hour until we saw smoke coming from above us. We
all ignored the smoke because we thought someone was burning the long joystick
for some prayers.
An hour later, we saw flame coming from
the kitchen. My sister and I went into the kitchen and were frozen to death as
the flame was slowly burning the whole kitchen up. “ Run!” Celina shouted. When
we were about to turn around and run, part of the wall above us collapsed in
front of us blocking our only exit. “Crawl down there!” I suggested the moment I
saw a small pathway from where the wall had collapsed. “ Ok!” my two sister replied
and we crawl our way out. Once we had crawled out, I just realize that my money
was up in the room. “ Cally and Celina
head out for the exit! I have something to do!” I told my sister. “ What? We
are both to scare to leave without you!” Cally sobbed.
Not long, we could her a loud crash above
us. “ Just go!” I flared and ran for my room at the 2nd floor. When
I was in the 2nd floor, the place was badly burnt and it is hard to
get through because many woods and bricks were tumbled down from the roof due
to the flame. I quickly kicked the wood that blocked my path and it broke into
two giving me a way to my room. Once I
had crossed over, I quickly ran into my room by kicking my room door. When the
door was flung open, I saw my ‘Piggy bank’ under my bed which is still safe but
my bed wasn’t. I quickly jump into my room and ducked to get my ‘Piggy Bank’.
Once I got it, I quickly punched the window pane in my room until it breaks.
Once it is broken, I jumped out from my room causing myself to stand on the edge
of the 2-storey house. I placed my left hand on the pipe which connects to my
rooftop and jumped down without getting injured. Once I landed on the ground
safely with my ‘Piggy Bank’, I ran to the front of my house to look for my
sister but there were not there. Not long, I saw my dad rushing back home with
his groceries on his hands that he
bought in the nearby market. “Where are your sisters?” my dad groaned. I stared
at the burning house without even have the guts to speak. My dad threw the groceries
down onto the ground stomping through the front door without even care about the
fire.
A few minutes later, the place begins to
be crowded and I could hear my mom was horning for the people to get away as they
are blocking her way. My mom got down from her car and forced her way out from the
crowd and the next thing she knew, she fainted the moment she saw her house on
fire. The residents around my area carried my mom to shaded area and not long I
could hear my dad screaming all the. I could see my two sisters being wrapped
with blanket each with them and my dad was carrying both on their waist. My dad
was running out for the exit but not long the gas in the kitchen exploded forcing
my dad to swing my sisters out. I cried out for my dad because I knew he would
not make it out for the exit. Part of the house tumble down leaving him inside
the house.
20 minutes later, the fireman came but it was
too late for them to save my dad. All they could do was to put out the fire
before it spreads. My sisters were then rushed by the ambulances to the nearest
hospital for treatment. They were sent to the Emergency room with 4 doctors and
9 nurses in the room treating them. When my mom regains her consciousness, the
1st person she spoke was me. She asked me what happen but I was too scared
to talk. My mom slapped me on my face and I begin to cry. “ You save your own
stuff instead of your sister?” my mom stomped the moment she was me with my ‘Piggy
Bank’. “ How selfish and greedy you are! Why do I even give birth to such son
like you who only thinks of himself but not others!” my mom sobbed. “ I was
standing there crying while wrapping the ‘Piggy Bank’ around my arms.
2 months later, I change into a new
man. The money that I saved in my “Piggy Bank’ was used to pay my sisters
medical fees. I told myself that I will not be greedy of something anymore because
being greedy makes us forget our root and only concentrate on one thing which
we think that give us the most advantage. I even visited my father grave to tell
him that ‘I am sorry’ for what I did back there. From there I worked hard to be
a fireman in Hong Kong and at the age of 22 I succeeded. I worked as a fireman for
10 years before moving my career to be an actor. If there is any show or movie that is related
to ‘Fireman’. I will be the 1st one requesting it to be in that show
or movie because I will be my best while doing this type of movie. This is due
to my experience I had when I was once a fireman! You can check out the latest
fireman movie I act that is ‘As the light goes out’. The director and the supervisor
told me that I was the 1st guy ever they see such actor acting so realistic
in such movie when we have so much special effect going on! Well I guess that
is my story!”
“ Wow! A touching one though and the
right time to share your stories during Chinese New Year! So what is the moral
value you learn form those events you had been through before?” Carinne asked. “The
moral values I learnt is that money can posses our mind even though it does not
have soul. Furthermore, people who are greedy will only get what they want for
their own desire but other wont leaving that greedy person alone to work.
Greedy gives us nothing except the things we always have in our mind everyday.
Being greedy kills us by forgetting who really matters to us. Being greedy only
leads you to a path which no one else following you from behind with no
support. SO people out there, stop being greedy or you might lose something
which you can’t see it right now but later on in life!” Nicholas Tze answered
Carinne question. “Great answer and thank you for joining us here today
Nicholas Tze!” Carinne said as she shook hand with him. “ Welcome and I am
looking forward for your future interview!” Nichloas Tze told Carinne. “ We
will call you when we need you!” Carinne replied.
